Aabha Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Rajiv Babbar. Zahreela is written by Iqbal Durrani and directed by Raj Sippy. Harrika and Hassine Creations acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Zahreela was released on 17th October 2014. Zahreela was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹86 lakh. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sanjay Kumar. Cinematography was done by Akram Khan and editing by Prashanth Khedekar, and Vinod Nayak. The music was composed by Anand-milind.
