Desperate for better grades and to fulfill their dreams, two Delhi school backbenchers get caught up in a series of misadventures involving leaked papers, lottery predictions, a struggling musician, a gangster, and drugs. Excel Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Fukrey is written by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, Vipul Vig and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and it is directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. AA Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Fukrey was released on 13th June 2013 and takes a screen time of 143 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
