The movie is inspired from Coolie No. 1 by David Dhawan. Pooja Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh. Coolie No. 1 is written by Rumi Jaffrey and Farhad Samji and it is directed by David Dhawan. Pen Marudhar Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. Coolie No. 1 was released on 25th December 2020. The Film was successful at box office. Coolie No. 1 was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹12 crore. Cinematography was done by Ravi K. Chandran and editing by Ritesh Soni. The music was composed by Sajid-wajid along with Tanishk Bagchi and Sachet-parampara.
