Ventilator is a Marathi film about an extended joint-family who come together to support their dying relative before the Ganpati festival, showcasing the importance of family and tradition in Indian society. Ventilator is a 2016 Indian Marathi-language Drama motion picture featuring Ashutosh Gowariker, Jitendra Joshi, Sulbha Arya, Sukanya Kulkarni, Tanvi Abhyankar, Kirti Adarkar and Gautam Berde. Purple Pebble Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Priyanka Chopra and Madhu Chopra. The motion picture is written and directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. Zee Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. Ventilator was released on 4th November 2016 and takes a screen time of 130 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Ventilator was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹25 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Rajesh Mapuskar. Cinematography was done by Savita Singh and editing by Rameshwar S. Bhagat. The music was composed by Rohan Pradhan along with Rohan-rohan.
