A criminal couple kidnaps a hotel owners grandson with the help of a chauffeur, but their plan is foiled when their intended victims pet snake attacks them, leading to their demise. Venom is a 1981 English-language Horror Thriller film featuring Klaus Kinski, Sterling Hayden, Sarah Miles, Nicol Williamson, Cornelia Sharpe, Susan George and Guy Standeven. The movie is inspired from Venom by Alan Scholefield. Morison Film Group in association with Venom Productions Limited. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Martin Bregman. The movie is directed by Piers Haggard. HandMade Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Venom was released on 28th November 1981 and takes a screen time of 92 minutes. Venom was made on a budget of $100 million and at the box office it grossed only $5 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Robert Carrington. Cinematography was done by Denys Coop and Gilbert Taylor and editing by Michael Bradsell. The music was composed by Michael Kamen.
