Kathir and Arukkani, childhood sweethearts from a village, face numerous challenges and struggles, including imprisonment, a forced arranged marriage, and financial instability, but ultimately manage to overcome these obstacles and finally marry after years of separation. Star Makers was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) S. A. Chandrasekhar. The movie is written and directed by Senapathi Magan.
