Under Western Stars

In his starring debut Roy gets elected to congress in order to bring water to the ranchers in his district. In Washington he learns he needs the backing of a key congressman and gets that man to go west for an inspection trip. When the Congressman is initally unimpressed, Roy gets the inspection party stranded without water to show the true conditions. Written by Maurice VanAuken Under Western Stars is a 1938 American English-language Action Adventure movie featuring Roy Rogers, Smiley Burnette, Carol Hughes, Maple City Four, Guy Usher, Tom Chatterton and Bill Wolfe. Republic Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sol C. Siegel. The movie is directed by Joseph Kane. Republic Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Under Western Stars was released on 20th April 1938 and takes a screen time of 65 minutes.
