The movie is inspired from The Raven: The Love Story of Edgar Allan Poe by George C. Hazelton. Essanay Film Manufacturing Company was the production house involved in the project. The motion picture is written and directed by Charles Brabin. V-L-S-E acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Raven was released on 8th November 1915 and takes a screen time of 80 minutes. The Raven was made on a budget of $26 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $29 million.
