Torn by the recent death of his wife in a car accident, and still recovering from his wounds, Joel wakes up to find Elvis, her dog, dehydrated and on the verge of death. Unable to even take care of himself, he decides to abandon the dog and cut himself off from the world. But it won t prove to be easy, when he locks himself out of his house and is forced to confront memories of her. Harimao Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gang Min-gyu. The motion picture is written and directed by Cheon Sung-il. Lotte Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. The movie has a running time of 111 minutes. The Long Way Home was made on a budget of ₹67 lakh and at the box office it grossed only $4 million. Cinematography was done by Lee Jae-hyeok and editing by Kim Chang-ju. The music was composed by Choi Seung-hyun.
