Busca Vida Filmes was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Shane Boris, Petra Costa, Joanna Natasegara and Tiago Pavan. The Edge of Democracy is written by Petra Costa, Carol Pires, David Barker and Moara Passoni and it is directed by Petra Costa. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Edge of Democracy was released on 19th June 2019 and takes a screen time of 121 minutes. Cinematography was done by Jo o Atala. The music was composed by Vitor Ara Jo along with Rodrigo Le O, Gilberto Monte and Lucas Santtana.
