A couple named Harry and Eve Graham seek to adopt a child, but an adoption agent named Mr. Jordan uncovers that Harry has been leading a double life with another wife and child, resulting in a legal battle and financial obligations for Harry. The Bigamist is a 1953 American English-language Drama Film-Noir motion picture starring Joan Fontaine, Edmond O brien, Ida Lupino, Edmund Gwenn, Kenneth Tobey, Jane Darwell and James Young. The Filmakers was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Robert Eggenweiler and Collier Young. The movie is directed by Ida Lupino. Filmakers Releasing Organization acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Bigamist was released on 3rd December 1953 and takes a screen time of 80 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Collier Young. Cinematography was done by George E. Diskant and editing by Stanford Tischler. The music was composed by Leith Stevens.
