Disobedience

After the death of her father, Ronit returns to London from New York and stays with her childhood friend Dovid and his wife Esti, but as Ronit tries to adjust to Orthodox culture and questions her choices, she reignites a romance with Esti and they both confess their unhappiness, leading to a confrontation with the congregation and upheaval in Dovid and Estis marriage, but in the end, Esti discovers she is pregnant, Dovid releases Esti from their marriage, and Ronit and Esti share a final kiss before Ronit leaves for New York. Disobedience is a 2018 English-language Drama Romance motion picture starring Rachel Weisz, Rachel Mcadams, Alessandro Nivola, Anton Lesser, Allan Corduner, Nicholas Woodeson and Johanna Thea. The movie is inspired from Disobedience by Naomi Alderman. Film4 Productions in association with FilmNation Entertainment, Element Pictures, LC6 Productions and Braven Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ed Guiney, Rachel Weisz and Frida Torresblanco. The movie is directed by Sebasti N Lelio. Curzon Artificial Eye acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Disobedience was released on 28th June 2018 and takes a screen time of 114 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Disobedience was made on a budget of $6 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $8 million.
