The Wings of the Dove is a 1997 English-language Drama Romance film written by Henry James and Hossein Amini. The movie is directed by Iain Softley and produced by Stephen Evans and David Parfitt under the banner of Renaissance Dove. An impoverished woman who has been forced to choose between a privileged life with her wealthy aunt and her journalist lover, befriends an American heiress. The wings of the dove features Helena Bonham Carter, Linus Roache, Alison Elliott, Elizabeth Mcgovern, Michael Gambon, Alex Jennings and Guy Standeven. The screenplay is written by Hossein Amini which is inspired from The Wings of the Dove by Henry James. The music was composed by Edward Shearmur. Cinematography was done by Eduardo Serra and editing by Tariq Anwar. The motion picture has a running time of 102 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of $13 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Miramax Films.
