The film follows the thrilling journey of Pappan, a cop, and his friend Joy as they face danger and navigate through a complex investigation involving a notorious criminals wife, a smuggler, and a series of challenges, highlighting their struggles and conflicts in their pursuit of justice. Tharangam is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language Action Comedy motion picture starring Tovino Thomas, Saiju Kurup, Balu Varghese, Unni Mukundan, Santhy Balachandran, Dileesh Pothan and Sanal Mohan. Tharangam was Produced by Dhanush and Mini Studio. Tharangam is written by Anil Narayanan and Dominic Arun and it is directed by Dominic Arun. Wunderbar Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Tharangam was released on 29th September 2017 and takes a screen time of 153 minutes. Cinematography was done by Deepak D. Menon. The music was composed by Ashwin Renju.
