Thoppil Joppan

The story follows Joppan, a Kabbadi player, who falls in love with Annie, but due to disapproval from Joppans father, they separate and Joppan later falls in love with Maria, eventually marrying her after some misunderstandings. Thoppil Joppan is a 2016 Indian Malayalam-language Comedy Drama movie featuring Mammootty, Mamta Mohandas, Andrea Jeremiah, Renji Panicker, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Sudheer Sukumaran and Unni Chittoor. Grande Film Corporation in association with S N Group. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Noushad Alathur & Chandrahassan. Thoppil Joppan is written by Nishad K. Koya, Vidyasagar and Nishad Koya and it is directed by Johny Antony. Grande Film Corporation Release acquired the distribution rights for the film. Thoppil Joppan was released on 7th October 2016. The Film was successful at box office. Thoppil Joppan was made on a budget of ₹6 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹22 crore. Cinematography was done by Sunoj Velayudhan and editing by Ranjan Abraham. The music was composed by National Award winner Vidyasagar.
