Shibu

A young aspiring filmmaker faces rejection in his pursuit of dreams, joins a film institute but becomes confused by its teachings, decides to make a zero-budget film, accidentally causes the death of an actor during the shoot, tries to hide the murder, and meets Kalyani at a matchmaking event, leading to their shared journey together. Shibu is a 2019 Indian Malayalam-language Drama Romance film featuring Karthik Ramakrishnan, Anju Kurian, Salim Kumar, Biju Kuttan, Anagha, Bijukuttan and Shyni. Kaargo Cinemas was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kaargo Cinemas. The movie is directed by Arjun Prabhakaran & Gokul Ramakrishnan. UK studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. Shibu was released on 19th July 2019 and takes a screen time of 122 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Shibu was made on a budget of ₹50 lakh and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹95 lakh. The screenplay for the movie was written by Arjun and Gokul & Praneesh Vijayan. Cinematography was done by Shabeer Ahammed and editing by Noufal Abdullah. The music was composed by Sachin Warrier.
