Metamorphosis

The first passage tells the story of an intersex person named Adam who, after experiencing menstruation, embarks on a journey of self-discovery that challenges their sexual identity, introducing them to a world of ambiguity and desire. In the second passage, Mukesh, a father who sells betel leaves, faces a desperate situation when his son is diagnosed with mouth cancer, leading him to contemplate mercy killing and confront his own confusion, ultimately leading to a transformation in his understanding and strength as they navigate their shared destiny and learn to accept their circumstances, bringing a new meaning to their father-son bond. Metamorphosis is a 2019 Portuguese-language Horror Thriller film starring Seong-woo Bae, Dong-il Sung, Young Nam Jang, , Yi-hyun Cho, Kim Kang-hoon and Tae-rin Kim. Metamorphosis was released on 12th September 2019. Metamorphosis was made on a budget of €10 million.
