A generous village leader and his wife face disruption when a swindler cons them, leading to their daughter marrying him, their son opposing the marriage, and the swindlers downfall and departure from the village; however, the son abandons his parents and they become destitute until the swindler returns, leading to the son realizing the truth and developing a heart condition before eventually getting married.
