Two families in Kerala have a rivalry over getting their children married first, and a series of misunderstandings lead to Kunjiramans engagement being cancelled and him marrying his cousins daughter without their consent. Little Big Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Suvin K. Varkey. Kunjiramayanam is written by Basil Joseph and Deepu Pradeep and it is directed by Basil Joseph. E4 Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Kunjiramayanam was released on 28th August 2015 and takes a screen time of 125 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Kunjiramayanam was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹10 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Deepu Pradeep. Cinematography was done by Vishnu Sarma and editing by Appu N. Bhattathiri. The music was composed by Justin Prabhakaran.
