Japanil Kalyanaraman

A journalist named Raman uncovers a smuggling operation involving a prominent figure and his son, but after they acquire the magazine Raman works for, he starts his own and is later attacked, surviving with the help of his deceased friend and son, traveling to Japan to buy printing equipment, where Raman falls in love with a waitress named Radha and eventually apprehends the son and reunites with Radha and his own son. Japanil Kalyanaraman is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language Action Comedy film featuring Kamal Haasan, Sathyaraj, Master Tinku, Ramasami V.k., Goundamani, Chitra Lakshmanan and Hoshiyama. P. A. Art Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Panchu Arunachalam, Meena Panchu Arunachalam and Sethu Bhaskaran. Japanil Kalyanaraman is written by Panchu Arunachalam and directed by S. P. Muthuraman. P. A. Art Productions acquired the distribution rights for the film. Japanil Kalyanaraman was released on 11th November 1985. Cinematography was done by T. S. Vinayagam and editing by R. Vittal and C. Lancy. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja.
