Six women who have experienced failed marriages due to various reasons form a music band called Kalyana Agathigal to raise funds for charity, while also dealing with societal pressures and encountering a runaway girl who becomes part of their family, all in an exploration of their challenges and quest for genuine love in the face of a regressive society. Kalyana Agathigal is a 1985 Indian Tamil-language Drama motion picture featuring Saritha Chandrasekhar in the title role. Kavithalayaa Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Rajam Balachander and Pushpa Kandaswamy. The film is written and directed by K. Balachander.
