Despite the disapproval of Priyas gangster brother Bhaskar, Shiva and Priya fight for their love and ultimately unite after a dramatic confrontation with Bhaskar and his men. Run is a 2002 American Tamil-language Action Drama film starring Dwayne Johnson, Seann William Scott, Christopher Walken, Rosario Dawson, Ewen Bremner, R Madhavan and Dhritiman Chatterjee. Sri Surya Movies was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Am Rathnam, Marc Abraham, Karen Glasser and Kevin Misher. Run is written by N. Linguswamy and directed by N. Linguswamy and Peter Berg. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Run was released on 5th September 2002 and takes a screen time of 104 minutes. Run was made on a budget of ₹6 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹4 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by R.J. Stewart and James Vanderbilt. Cinematography was done by Tobias A. Schliessler and editing by Richard Pearson. The music was composed by Scott Umsteadt along with Harry Gregson-williams.
