Half Widow

Amid the backdrop of the Kashmiri conflict, a young woman must come to grips with the disappearance of her doting husband and embarks on harrowing journey of self-discovery. Half Widow is a 2017 Indian Urdu-language Drama movie featuring Neelofar Hamid, Shahnawaz Bhat, Mir Sarwar and Haseena Sofi. Renzu Films in association with Gaya Art Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gaya Bhola and Danish Renzu. Half Widow is written by Danish Renzu and Sunayana Kachroo and it is directed by Danish Renzu. Amazon Prime Video acquired the distribution rights for the film. Half Widow was released on 6th January 2020 in Urdu and Kashmiri languages and takes a screen time of 91 minutes. Cinematography was done by Antonio Cisneros and editing by Nitin Baid. The music was composed by Alokananda Dasgupta along with Sonu Nigam, Dilip Langoo, Jaan Nissar Lone and Lyrics: Sunayana Kachroo.
