Green Lantern: Emerald Knights

On Oa, the headquarters planet of the intergalactic police force, the Green Lantern Corps, the Guardians of the Universe alarming evidence that the feared villain, Krona, is coming to destroy the planet. While the Guardians move to evacuate, Green Lantern Hal Jordan helps the unsure new recruit, Arisia, by telling her several stories of fellow Lanterns and the challenges they faced. Through him, we the adventures of Avra the first Lantern, Princess Laira, Kilowog, the unsociable Mogo and Jordan s immediate predecessor, Abin Sur. When Krona arrives, those stories prove valuable than anyone expects as Arisia draws a special inspiration from them. The movie is based on Hal Jordan by John Broome Gil Kane. Warner Premiere in association with DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bruce Timm, Alan Burnett, Lauren Montgomery and Sam Register. Green Lantern: Emerald Knights is written by Eddie Berganza, Alan Burnett, Todd Casey, Dave Gibbons, Michael Green, Marc Guggenheim, Geoff Johns and Peter Tomasi and it is directed by Christopher Berkeley, Lauren Montgomery and Jay Oliva. Warner Home Video acquired the distribution rights for the film. Green Lantern: Emerald Knights was released on 7th June 2011 and takes a screen time of 84 minutes. The music was composed by Christopher Drake.
