A group of villagers in rural China stand up against an enemy commandant and his soldiers to protect their homeland during a time when government military forces are away at war. Call of Heroes is a 2016 Cantonese-language Action Adventure motion picture starring Sean Lau, Louis Koo, Eddie Peng, Yuan Quan, Jiang Shuying, Wu Jing and Xing Yu. Call of Heroes was Produced by Benny Chan. The movie is directed by Benny Chan. Universe Films Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Call of Heroes was released on 18th August 2016 and takes a screen time of 119 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Call of Heroes was made on a budget of $32 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹16 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Benny Chan, Doug Wong, Tam Wai-ching, Tim Tong and Chien I-chueh. Cinematography was done by Pakie Chan and editing by Yau Chi-wai. The music was composed by Wong Kin-wai.
