A former activist and war veteran struggles to separate himself from student protests on campus and across the country, but ultimately decides to take a stand for his beliefs amidst escalating clashes with the police. Getting Straight is a 1970 American English-language Comedy Drama movie featuring Elliott Gould, Candice Bergen, Jeff Corey, Robert F. Lyons, Max Julien, Cecil Kellaway and Julia Anne Robinson. The movie is based on novel by Ken Kolb. Getting Straight was Produced by Richard Rush. Getting Straight is written by Robert Kaufman and directed by Richard Rush. Columbia Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Getting Straight was released on 13th May 1970 and takes a screen time of 124 mins. The film made a box office gross of $13 million. Cinematography was done by L szl Kov cs and editing by Maury Winetrobe. The music was composed by Ronald Stein.
