Daruwane

A newcomers son becomes popular in a village school and is targeted by a jealous classmate, but after a confrontation, the jealous classmate helps the popular son when he gets into an accident, leading to friendship. Daruwane is a 2012 Sinhala-language Drama Family film featuring Shayan Perera, Jayalath Manoratne, Janaka Kumbukage, Duleeka Marapana, Nadika Gunasekera, Vishwanath Kodikara and Anura Waragoda. The movie is based on Pasanga. Daruwane was Produced by Sunil T. Films. Daruwane is written by Bernard Jayathunga and directed by V. Sivadasan. E.A.P Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Daruwane was released on 26th July 2012 and takes a screen time of 110 minutes. Cinematography was done by Norbert Rathnasiri and editing by Randika Nadeeshan Vijemanna. The music was composed by Somapala Rathnayake.
