The film portrays the interconnected lives of four students in Cairo as they navigate university, relationships, rebellion, and societal expectations, ultimately leading them to make transformative choices for their futures. Egypt Studio-El Expra was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Hani Guirguis Fawzi. City of Girls is written by Ola El Shafie and directed by Amr Bayoumi. Hani Guirguis Fawzi acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. City of Girls was released on 7th March 2006 and takes a screen time of 102 minutes. Editing was done by Doa a Fathi. The music was composed by Amir Khalaf.
