Borgen is a Danish drama series that follows the journey of Birgitte Nyborg, a political leader who becomes Denmarks first female prime minister, as she navigates the challenges of the political world and explores the triumphs and failures of her and those around her. Borgen is a 2012 Danish-language Drama series starring Sidse Babett Knudsen, Birgitte Hjort S Rensen, Pilou Asb K, S Ren Malling, Birgitte Hjort Sorensen, Søren Malling and Marie Askehave. SAM Productions was the production house involved in the project. Borgen is written by Adam Price, Jeppe Gjervig Gram and Tobias Lindholm and it is directed by S Ren Kragh-jacobsen and Rumle Hammerich. Series originally aired on DR1. Creator of the series is Adam Price. The television series has a running time of 55-59 minutes for each episode.
