Vikings

A TV series based on Norse mythology follows the adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok and his family, combining fictional tales with real historical events from the Viking Age, starting with the raid on Lindisfarne in 793. Vikings is a 2013 English-language Action Adventure television show featuring Travis Fimmel, Katheryn Winnick, Clive Standen, Jessalyn Gilsig, Gustaf Skarsg Rd, Gabriel Byrne and Scott Graham. TM Productions in association with Take 5 Productions, Octagon Films , Shaw Media , Corus Entertainment , MGM Television and History. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Steve Wakefield, Keith Thompson, Sanne Wohlenberg and Liz Gill. MGM Television acquired the distribution rights for the television series. Creator of the series is Michael Hirst. Vikings has 6 seasons and a cumulative total of 89 episodes which have a running time of 45-50 minutes each. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Cinematography was done by John Bartley, PJ Dillon, Owen McPolin, Peter Robertson and Suzie Lavelle. The music was composed by Trevor Morris.
