A Malaysian Chinese teacher named Ling faces struggles with conceiving, takes care of her bedridden father-in-law, forms a connection with a student, deals with her husbands infidelity, faces harassment from the student, gets exposed by the school principal, ends the affair, divorces her husband, and later discovers she is pregnant but decides not to use her husbands frozen sperm, eventually returning to her hometown to reflect on her journey. Wet Season is a 2019 Singaporean Mandarin-language Drama Romance film starring Yeo Yann Yann, Koh Jia Ler, Yann Yann Yeo, , Christopher Ming-shun Lee, Siew Feng Choo and Lina Ng. Wet Season was Produced by Anthony Chen, Huang Wenhong and Tan Si En. The movie is directed by Anthony Chen. Golden Village Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Wet Season was released on 19th October 2019 and takes a screen time of 103 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Anthony Chen. Cinematography was done by Sam Care and editing by Hoping Chen and Joanne Cheong
