Thulasidala is a 1985 Indian Kannada-language Horror Thriller movie starring John Abraham, Ayesha Takia, Paresh Rawal, Ranvir Shorey, Sarath Babu, Aarathi Chandrashekar and G.k. Govinda Rao. The movie is based on Quitters Inc. by Stephen King. Big Screen Entertainment and Eros International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Kumar Mangat Pathak and Vishal Bhardwaj. The movie is directed by Anurag Kashyap. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Thulasidala was released on 25th September 1985 and takes a screen time of 128 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Anurag Kashyap. Cinematography was done by Rajeev Ravi and editing by Aarti Bajaj. The music was composed by Vishal Bhardwaj.

This is another routine ghost story and the low production values pull this movie down. A pathetic screenplay blended with clumsy music leaves the movie wandering. Climax leaves everyone perplexed. Overall, Thulasidalam is one of the weakest horror flicks released in the recent times. Even though the cast manages to impress with their decent performance, the film falters in every other department and fails to impress whatsoever.
