During a recession, a shipbuilding corporation downsizes, leading to the firing of Bobby Walker, a white-collar employee who faces financial difficulties, moves in with his parents, takes a manual labor job, and struggles to find stability, while the companys Executive Vice President questions the employee cutbacks and eventually starts his own business, hiring Walker and other former employees to help them start afresh. The Company Men is a 2011 American English-language Drama motion picture featuring Ben Affleck, Chris Cooper, Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones, Suzanne Rico, Kent Shocknek and Dan Perrault. The Weinstein Company in association with Battle Mountain Films and Spring Creek Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) John Wells, Paula Weinstein and Claire Rudnick Polstein. The motion picture is written and directed by John Wells. The Weinstein Company acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Company Men was released on 27th January 2011 and takes a screen time of 113 minutes. The Company Men was made on a budget of $15 million and at the box office it grossed only $1 million.
