Taandav

The story follows a head constable named Tambe, who has a terrible day filled with conflicts with his family and friends; assigned with the duty of managing the Ganpati visarjan bandobast, he becomes overwhelmed by the loud and chaotic environment, leading to his frustration escalating until he reaches a breaking point and loses control, diving into the crowd with his gun and unleashing a dramatic and intense action, exploring themes of being overwhelmed and pushed to ones limits, anger, frustration, and the possibility of violence. Taandav is a 2016 Hindi-language Drama movie starring Anvita Dutt Guptan, Manoj Bajpayee and Vibhawari Deshpande. The film is written and directed by Devashish Makhija.
