The motion picture is written and directed by Shirish Kunder. Cape of Good Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Joker was released on 30th August 2012 and takes a screen time of 103 minutes. Joker was made on a budget of ₹47 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹20 crore. Cinematography was done by Sudeep Chatterjee and editing by Shirish Kunder. The music was composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar along with Gaurav Dagaonkar.
