Vijay arrives in Kolkata to search for his lost sister and gets involved in a series of events including defending himself by chopping off a mans arm, falling in love with a college girl named Swetha, confronting a gangster who has abducted his sister, and ultimately reconciling with Swetha as he starts a new life with his sister. Souryam is a 2008 Indian Telugu-language Action Drama film starring Anushka Shetty, Poonam Kaur, Tottempudi Gopichand, Ajay, Ali, Annie and Sudha.
