A couple begin to experience some unusual activity after bringing their lost nieces and nephew home. With the help of home-surveillance cameras, they learn they re being stalked by a nefarious demon. Scary Movie 5 is a 2013 American English-language Comedy Horror film starring Simon Rex, Ashley Tisdale, Ava Kolker, Erica Ash, Molly Shannon, Heather Locklear and Anthony Rosso. Brad Grey Pictures in association with DZE. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) David Zucker and Phil Dornfeld. Scary Movie 5 is written by David Zucker and Pat Proft and it is directed by Malcolm D. Lee and David Zucker. Dimension Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Scary Movie 5 was released on 2nd May 2013 and takes a screen time of 86 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Scary Movie 5 was made on a budget of $45 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $178 million. Cinematography was done by Steven Douglas Smith and editing by Sam Seig. The music was composed by James L. Venable.
