Released from prison, Carlito Brigante tries to go straight but gets caught up in a drug deal gone wrong, ultimately leading to his downfall and death at the hands of a former associate. Carlitos Way is a 1993 American English-language Crime Drama movie starring Al Pacino, Sean Penn, Penelope Ann Miller, John Leguizamo, Ingrid Rogers, Luis Guzman and Kyle Wyatt. The movie is based on Carlito s Way and After Hours by Edwin Torres. Carlitos Way was Produced by Martin Bregman, Willi Baer and Michael S. Bregman. The movie is directed by Brian De Palma. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Carlitos Way was released on 12th November 1993 and takes a screen time of 144 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Carlitos Way was made on a budget of $30 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $63 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by David Koepp. Cinematography was done by Stephen H. Burum and editing by Bill Pankow. The music was composed by Patrick Doyle.
