A woman dies of fright due to the events that lead to her tragic demise, including being treated against her will in a private sanatorium and being accused of collaborating with the Nazis. Scared to Death is a 1947 American English-language Thriller film featuring Bela Lugosi, George Zucco, Nat Pendleton, Molly Lamont, Joyce Compton, Gladys Blake and Dorothy Christy. The movie is inspired from play Murder on the Operating Table by Frank Orsino. Golden Gate Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) William B. David. Scared to Death is written by W.j. Abbott and directed by Christy Cabanne. Screen Guild Productions acquired the distribution rights for the film.
