A baby photographer becomes a private detective and is tasked with finding a kidnapped man, but is wrongfully convicted of murder before the true culprit is caught with the help of the mans wife and a detective who uses a photo to prove the impostors identity. My Favorite Brunette is a 1947 American English-language Comedy Crime movie starring Bob Hope, Dorothy Lamour, Peter Lorre, Lon Chaney, Lon Chaney Jr., John Hoyt and Jean Wong. Hope Enteriprises was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Danny Dare. The movie is directed by Elliott Nugent. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. My Favorite Brunette was released on 24th March 1947 and takes a screen time of 87 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $3 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Edmund Beloin and Jack Rose. Cinematography was done by Lionel Lindon and editing by Ellsworth Hoagland. The music was composed by Robert Emmett Dolan.
