In 1994, talent manager Sandy Wexlers eccentric behavior and constant lying hinder the success of his clients, but when he meets Courtney Clarke and realizes he is hindering her success as well, he resigns as her manager, leading to his clients leaving him, but ultimately learns to be honest and rebuilds his career, marrying Courtney and finding success.
