Rust Creek

A college student named Sawyer Scott gets lost in the Appalachian forest after taking an alternate route during a job interview journey, encounters two brothers burying a body, becomes stranded with limited supplies when her car is disposed of by the brothers, gets captured and bonds with Lowell while waiting for the brothers to deliver meth, witnesses the county sheriff covering up her disappearance and killing a deputy, survives an explosion that kills one brother and injures Lowell and the other, escapes an attempted drowning by ODoyle, and finally walks away with state police converging behind her. Rust Creek is a 2018 American English-language Crime Drama movie starring Hermione Corfield, Jay Paulson, Sean O bryan, Micah Hauptman, Daniel R. Hill, Jeremy Glazer and Jordan Walker. Lunacy Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Stu Pollard, Nicholaas Bertelsen and Harris Mccabe. Rust Creek is written by Julie Lipson and directed by Jen Mcgowan. IFC Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
