Premer Fande Kakatua

A movie depicts the story of two hostels, which initially had frequent fights and quarrels between boys and girls, but eventually, they learn to coexist peacefully, highlighting gender stereotypes in our society and taught the importance of empathy, understanding, and respect towards others. Kakatua is a 2009 Bengali-language Comedy Drama film featuring Armeena Khan, Bilal Ashraf, Ali Rehman Khan, Hania Amir, Joyjit Banerjee, Paran Banerjee and Jishu Sengupta. IRK Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Hareem Farooq, Reham Khan, Munir Hussain and Imran Raza Kazmi. Kakatua is written by Osman Khalid Butt and directed by Azfar Jafri. ARY Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Kakatua was released on 8th December 2009 in Urdu and Pashto languages and takes a screen time of 133 minutes. Cinematography was done by Haider A Rizvi and editing by Mitesh Soni. The music was composed by Taha Malik along with Ahmed Ali, Armaan Malik and Salim Sulaiman.
