Silver Pictures in association with Wigram Productions and Village Roadshow Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Joel Silver, Lionel Wigram, Susan Downey and Dan Lin. Sherlock Holmes is written by Michael Robert Johnson, Anthony Peckham, Simon Kinberg, Lionel Wigram and Arthur Conan Doyle and it is directed by Guy Ritchie. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Sherlock Holmes was released on 24th December 2009 and takes a screen time of 129 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Sherlock Holmes was made on a budget of $90 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $524 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Michael Robert Johnson, Anthony Peckham and Simon Kinberg. Cinematography was done by Philippe Rousselot and editing by James Herbert. The music was composed by Hans Zimmer.
