Vettaikaran

A young man named Ravi aspires to become a police officer and takes on a gangster to defend his friend, but is eventually able to take down the gangster himself and finds the police officer within himself without the help of his role model. Vettaikaran is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language Action Comedy movie starring Sanchita Padukone, Joseph Vijay, Anushka Shetty, Salim Ghouse, P. Ravi Shankar, Sayaji Shinde and Jayalakshmi. AVM Productions & Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) M. Balasubramanian and Gurunath Meiyappan. Vettaikaran is written by Aqeel Qureshi and B. Babusivan and it is directed by Babu Sivan and B. Babusivan. Sun Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Vettaikaran was released on 18th December 2009 and takes a screen time of 175 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Vettaikaran was made on a budget of ₹29 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹70 crore. Cinematography was done by S. Gopinath and editing by V. T. Vijayan. The music was composed by Vijay Antony.
