Shivam, a wealthy hotelier from Goa, falls in love with Nandini, who rejects him due to her past with her former fiancé Ashwin, who became vegetative after a car accident; eventually, Nandini agrees to be with Shivam as long as she can dedicate two hours a day to Ashwin, but when Shivam goes to visit Ashwin, he passes away, leading Nandini to blame Shivam for his death, although Ashwins mother is grateful to Shivam for giving Ashwin peace before his passing; despite facing challenges, Nandini and Shivam marry and have a daughter, but after another accident, Nandini loses her memory and continues to visit the hospital, speaking to an empty bed as she believes Ashwin is still there. Mitwaa is a 2015 Indian Marathi-language Musical Romance film starring Swwapnil Joshi, Sonalee Kulkarni, Prarthana Behere, Aruna Irani, Swapnil Joshi, Ila Bhate and Sangram Salvi. Sagar Arts was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Akash Chopra, Amrit Sagar Chopra, Meenakshi Sagar, Amrit Sagar and Akash Chopra Shekhar Jyoti. Mitwaa is written by Jay Verma and Shirish Latkar and it is directed by Swapna Waghmare Joshi and Swapna Waghmare-joshi. STV networks & Cinema Company India . acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Mitwaa was released on 13th February 2015 and takes a screen time of 130 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹13 crore. Cinematography was done by Prasad Bhende. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Ehsaan Noorani along with Loy Mendonsa, Shankar Mahadevan, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Nilesh Moharir and Amitraj & Pankaj Padghan.
