Classmates

A college leader, Satya, becomes close friends with a fun-loving first-year student named Ani, while a tough girl named Appu supports and loves Satya, and Satya eventually falls in love with a politicians niece, Aditi, but their story takes a tragic turn with Anis untimely death. Classmates is a 2015 Indian Marathi-language Drama Romance movie starring Ankush Choudhary, Sai Tamhankar, Tushar Kamble, Sachit Patil, Sonalee Kulkarni, Siddharth Chandekar and Sushant Shellar. The movie is inspired from Classmates by Lal Jose. Mahalasa Entertainment in association with Media Monks. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Suresh Pai and Mediamonks. Classmates is written by Kshitij Patwardhan and directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. Video Palace acquired the distribution rights for the film. Classmates was released on 16th January 2015 and takes a screen time of 175 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Classmates was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹21 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Kshitij Patwardhan and Sameer Vidhwans. Cinematography was done by Manoj Kumar Khatoi and editing by Faisal Mahadik and Imran Mahadik. The music was composed by Amitraj along with Troy-arif, Avinash-vishwajeet and Pankaj Padghan.
