Miruthan

A zombie outbreak caused by a poisonous liquid spilled from a transport vehicle in a chemical laboratory in Ooty leads a traffic police officer to search for his missing sister with the help of a group of doctors, while facing obstacles and challenges in finding a vaccine to cure the zombies. Miruthan is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language Action Horror motion picture featuring Jayam Ravi, Lakshmi Menon, Anikha Surendran, Jeyam Ravi, Kaali Venkat, R.n.r. Manohar and R. Ravi. Global Infotainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) S. Michael Rayappan. Miruthan is written by D. Imman and Shakti Soundar Rajan and it is directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan. Ayngaran International Media acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Miruthan was released on 19th February 2016 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Miruthan was made on a budget of ₹20 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹50 crore. Cinematography was done by S. Venkatesh and editing by K. J. Venkatramanan. The music was composed by National Award winner D. Imman.
