After facing personal challenges and a failed marriage, Col. Ravi Varma Thampuran falls in love with Meenakshi but selflessly helps her unite with his subordinate, Manikandan, even though it means potential consequences for himself. Megham is a 1999 Indian Malayalam-language Comedy Musical film starring Mammootty, Priya Gill, Pooja Batra, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Sreenivasan, Nedumudi Venu and Maria. Sitara Combines was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Suresh Balaje. Megham is written by T. Damodaran and Priyadarshan Nair and it is directed by Priyadarshan Nair. Pranavam Movies Ltd acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Megham was released on 15th April 1999 and takes a screen time of 138 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by T. Damodaran. Cinematography was done by Sanjeev Sankar and editing by N. Gopalakrishnan. The music was composed by Ouseppachan.
