Amen

The story takes place in a Syrian village where Solomon, the son of a famous musician, falls in love with Shoshanna, the daughter of a wealthy man; a new priest named Fr. Vincent Vattoli tries to bring them together, but their attempts to elope fail, leading the village to bet on Solomons band winning a competition for their marriage to happen, despite challenges they eventually succeed and Solomons divine powers are revealed, allowing him to marry Shoshanna and continue competing with the band. Amen is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language Drama Musical motion picture starring Indrajith Sukumaran, Fahadh Faasil, Swathi Reddy, Kalabhavan Mani, Makrand Deshpande, Gokulan and Andrea Marian Renji. Amen was Produced by Fareed Khan. Amen is written by P.s. Rafeeque and P.s.rafeeque and it is directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery. PJ Entertainments acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Amen was released on 22nd March 2013 and takes a screen time of 165 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Amen was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹18 crore. Cinematography was done by Abinandhan Ramanujam and editing by Manoj. The music was composed by Prashant Pillai.
